Historic 1801 Atwater St.
Drydock
Detroit, Michigan
Rendered in the Sentinel monochrome signature, the 1801 Atwater collection is a study of the historic 1801 Atwater building, a former drydock and shipbuilding yard. The building has been renovated and currently houses the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Michigan State Parks. All images were captured on the Canon R5 at 45 megapixels and a ratio of 3:2. They can be printed at a maximum of 40”x60”.
Printed on 100% cotton rag, Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta pairs an archival barium sulfate coating with high Dmax to render structural blacks, highlight textures, and deep micro-contrast without glare. It reproduces the physical weight and tactile tone of a darkroom silver halide print while guaranteeing museum-grade permanence.
