Gordie Howe International Bridge Collection
The Gordie Howe International Bridge Collection is a part of a broader research project titled “Border Crossing: Iron Witness.” ASP documented the Michigan International Crossings from multiple vantage points in the US and Canada prior to the opening of the Gordie Howe bridge in early 2026. The Gordie Howe Collection includes monochrome and color shots of the bridge construction, evening lighting tests, and environmental context. All Gordie Howe images were captured on the Canon R5 at 45 megapixels and a ratio of 3:2. They can be printed at a maximum of 40”x60”.
Printed on 100% cotton rag, Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta pairs an archival barium sulfate coating with high Dmax to render structural blacks, highlight textures, and deep micro-contrast without glare. It reproduces the physical weight and tactile tone of a darkroom silver halide print while guaranteeing museum-grade permanence.
