Chimborazo Park
Richmond, Virginia
Perched high on the plateau above the James River channel, Chimborazo Park stands as a multi-layered sentinel of wartime history, medical history, and urban community space. Once the site of the Confederacy’s largest military hospital complex, the high ground was transformed in 1874 into a public sanctuary, later housing the 1909 U.S. Weather Bureau station and a 1951 bronze replica of the Statue of Liberty.
Every archival print in the Sentinel Signature series is rendered on museum-grade Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm—a 100% cotton rag paper engineered specifically for high-density fine-art conservation. Featuring a refined high-gloss barium sulfate coating, it absorbs our deep matte tone curves into the physical fibers of the paper while preserving razor-sharp edge definition. The result is an uncompromising tactile substrate delivering exceptional micro-contrast, velvety shadow density, and maximum textural depth for architectural and industrial monoliths.
